New retail & lifestyle experience for Werribee

The $370M expansion, refurbishment and re-branding of Pacific Werribee shopping centre in Melbourne’s west is now under construction and will add 35 000m² to the centre. The Buchan Group has designed every significant stage of the centre since its opening in 1985 and is responsible for the Architecture, Interior Design, Graphics and Signage of the current development. The redevelopment includes an upgraded two-storey Myer department store and new opportunities in fresh food, fashion, dining and entertainment. It is expected to be complete late in 2016. Bruce Shaw and Mark Kozakiewicz are leading The Buchan Group’s project team.

CFSGAM STARTS $580M EXPANSION OF CHADSTONE

Early works have commenced on the next stage of development of Chadstone Shopping Centre by CFSGAM. The project will add 34 000m² to the centre overall and includes an expanded luxury offer, a new North Retail entertainment and leisure precinct and a new bus interchange, as well as 800 additional car spaces. The development will modernise and complete the racetrack configuration of the shopping centre and will target 5-star Green Star ratings. Andrew Mackenzie is leading The Buchan Group on the Chadstone development, which will open in stages through to completion in mid-2017.
