上周在墨尔本的一个独家活动中，Realm作为最尖端的Ringwood图书馆、文化知识和创新中心项目入围了2016年度公共空间类室内设计杰出奖（IDEA）。 每年一度的室内设计杰出大奖是澳大利亚最大规模和最成功的独立设计奖项。该由杂志2013年设立该奖项，表彰澳大利亚最好的室内和产品设计。
Realm是Eastland购物中心和Ringwood城市广场重建工作的一部分。该项目3层楼设施体现了Maroondah市议会、QIC、当地居民的市民文化的愿望，通过露天聚集空间、咖啡店和商铺相互作用形成社区中心。
拜肯为该项目提供的室内设计概念是从周边城市肌理处获得灵感，结合原产于本地的高性能的桉树木材，定制设计了木工和在纹理和织物颜色的家具中反映原生植物。 特别设计的书架墙的灵感来自于附近地形崎岖的Yarra Valley河谷和Dandenong Range，书架上的轮廓运用了山脉轮廓曲线的形式。
拜肯集团总监以及设计主管Grant Withers先生表示：能够入选这个最富盛名的奖项提名很好地证明了拜肯设计的创新力和创造力。

作为Emporium Melbourne墨尔本购物中心项目的领导设计师，Ashley对墨尔本中央商圈最非凡的商业开发之一做出了巨大的贡献。
这个独特的城市购物商场成为了连接澳大利亚一系列最强大的中央商圈商业项目的中心，包括Myer, David Jones, Melbourne Central, The Strand Arcade and Melbourne’s GPO 最近，这个墨尔本购物中心项目还在2016年维多利亚建筑评选中获得商业建筑Sir Osborn McCutcheon奖以及入围了2015年室内设计杰出奖公共空间类。

Pacific Werribee’s $370 million refresh was recently unveiled by Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas, delivering a vibrant new one-stop fashion, food and entertainment destination for the local community.
The final stage in the redevelopment introduces a larger, full-line Myer department store and additional specialty stores to complement the existing Urban Diner alfresco dining precinct, Gold Class Village Cinemas, new Target and over 50 specialty stores.
Buchan has long been a part of Pacific Werribee’s growth, providing architecture and interior design and signage and wayfinding services for the refurbished malls and creating a new contemporary branded image for the Centre. Buchan also acted as the Executive Architect on the Urban Diner which opened in June 2015, working in collaboration with MGS Architects to conceive the design.
Our concept for the new East/West mall introduces a new generation sculptured and glazed design with wide, sunlit malls, natural materials and marble stone floors characterising the spaces. The latest in lighting and technology showcases brands and ensures an enhanced experience for shoppers.
Managing Director, Bruce Shaw said the rejuvenated Centre epitomises the new face of retail, creating a lifestyle destination beyond that of the traditional retail model.

Principal David Forbes will present at the 9th Annual SA Major Projects Conference taking place on 10-11 August at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
As South Australia’s premier infrastructure event, the conference will bring together a diverse range of key industry specialists from within the government and private sectors to provide the latest updates on major infrastructure projects and plans shaping the State.
David will deliver a mixed-use precinct study on Adelaide Casino, providing an insight into the development’s significance as the centre of an integrated sporting, recreational, civic, cultural and entertainment heartland, and enduring and sophisticated international icon for Adelaide.
