The newly expanded Castle Towers Shopping Centre was buzzing with Christmas shoppers this weekend following its official opening on Thursday. The $180 million integrated transport and retail hub added 37 retailers to the existing centre, in addition to an upgraded Coles Supermarket an expanded food and beverage offering which unites convenience dining with an ambience reminiscent of a modern restaurant experience.
Located in the Hills District – a strategic growth corridor in Sydney – Castle Towers will continue to support this burgeoning community as further works are undertaken towards the larger masterplan which will include residential, office, accommodation and healthcare facilities.
Buchan provided master planning and architectural services for the redevelopment of Castle Towers for our client QIC Global Real Estate, working alongside Luchetti Krelle on level one of the expansion and Seventh Wave. The Stage One opening is a significant milestone for our project team and with ongoing involvement, we’re excited about the continued transformation of this community hub.
