‘Taking back the City’ at Melbourne Design Week 2022

Buchan’s Melbourne Design Week 2022 forum in the round, Taking back the City, brought together four of Melbourne’s eminent thinkers on city design, along with more than 100 industry colleagues, all focused on building better cities through advocacy, design, and community.
 
Thank you to Jill Garner Victorian Government Architect; Prof. Rob Adams City Architect, City of Melbourne; Prof. Billie Giles Corti, Distinguished Professor and VC Professorial Fellow at RMIT University and member of the Victorian Office of the Government Architect Design Review Panel and Roger Teale General Manager – Property, Infrastructure and Design at City of Melbourne, for sharing your unique perspective on ‘taking back the city’, and the role design and collaboration plays in creating enduring urban spaces. 

And to our forum moderator, Prof. Cameron Bruhn, Dean and Head of School at The University of Queensland’s School of Architecture for expertly guiding the wide-ranging discussion on how we transform our cities back into places where people can connect and thrive.
