Dong is a Senior Associate in the Melbourne studio, who brings a strong user experience and communication design background to Buchan. He thrives in creative environments where the design thinking starts with the vision and concept for each solution. A seasoned design strategist he believes that diversity in teams is powerful and is the only way to create integrated design solutions.
Dong’s style is always to approach ideas laterally and contribute with mixed thinking to create a balance between imagination and pragmatism, innovation and tradition. He has an attitude to tackle anything in front of him.
Dong is currently Creative Lead on the Australian Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, for the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
